Standing up to Pinterest

Pinterest is testing my self confidence.  If all these other people are cooking and cleaning and organizing and doing crafts, why can't I? I will take on Pinterest and win my confidence back!

I always feel invigorated when a new year rolls around. I have so many well intentioned plans and ideas and I have the motivation to complete all them....for about two weeks.  This year I have the perfect set up!  I'll have a new job, with a new set of co-workers.  I have an opportunity to totally recreate myself into to the person I want to be.  No one will know of my disorganization or timidness. I can be the confident, organized one!  This year, is THE year. Shhh!  It really is!  I have a plan!

My Goals:
- Become more organized.  (It would be nice not to have to think about the day and figure out if anyone is going to be coming over, and if so, what is the likelihood they would go into such and such room and does it look halfway decent.)
-Cook real food.  (My family is probably radioactive with how much I use the microwave.  Everything gets made in there: spaghetti, mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, I even make the mug cakes!)
-Be a fun mom.  (I think I'm a pretty fun and creative mom, but I have to keep up with the standards that I set up for myself, which can be daunting. I have individual online picture galleries for my sons, I make them photo books for their birthdays, and I take a million pictures (only half joking about that!)
-Become more physically active.  (I really don't do much other than run after the boys. I should probably be doing something a little more formal in the exercise department.)
-Enjoy crafting. (I love to make things but sometimes I feel guilty about using my time on something that isn't necessarily productive or important for the greater good of the household like ironing and folding clothes would be.)

Why am I so confident that after a fortnight that I will still be movitated to work on these goals?  Drum roll please.....

The plan:
I am going to keep a journal where friends and strangers alike can monitor my success. (The key to goal making and achieving is focusing on the positive...there will be only successes, right?)  I will use ideas found on Pinterest and will attempt to work on one specific idea each week.
